Born in Damascus and raised in Sharjah, Sawsan
Al Bahar is an artist and cultural researcher
based in Dubai. Informed by her background in
architecture, Sawsan's artistic practice employs
drawing, writing, and digital media to express the
experiences of time and context in the absence of
a homeland.
